In order to better optimize the mathematics teaching and improve the teaching quality, Anqing Foreign Languages School launched a mathematics teaching and research activity for both the east and west campuses on May 14th. The mathematics group launched a warm study and exchange in the Junior High Department of the east campus. Teacher Wu Xiang prepared the ‘Special Review for the Senior High School Entrance Examination -- the First Line and Three Vertical Lines’, and teacher Zhou Mi brought the ‘Special Review for the Senior High School Entrance Examination -- the Folding Problem’, both of which were wonderful. After the demonstration lessons, the teachers had a heated discussion about the classroom teaching and the preparation for the Senior High School Entrance Examination.
To sum up, the teachers had a discussion with regard to the test question proposition of the Senior High School Entrance Examination and ‘teaching-learning-research’ during classroom teaching, laying emphasis on ‘research’, that is, teachers should have in-depth research on textbooks and test questions from the aspects of both analysis and adaptation. Therefore, the Grade 9 Mathematics Group will take the teaching and research of the two campuses as an opportunity, and all mathematics teachers will continue to devote themselves to teaching, study thoroughly, promote teaching by research, promote learning by teaching, prepare meticulously for the Senior High School Entrance Examination, work hard and create brilliance again!
